Recently, District 204 held Parent University: Coaching Your Child Through Big Emotions. Children can have big emotions they don't know how to handle. In this Parent University session, parents and guardians learned ways to coach their child through these feelings and help build their child's emotional competence. Attendees also learned how helping children identify and better understand their feelings will help lead them to finding their own solutions.
