School Board Candidate Forums

Community members have the opportunity to learn about the candidates running in the upcoming school board election by attending one of the following forums:

February 16, 2017, 7:00 p.m.
City Council Chambers, Naperville Municipal Building
400 S. Eagle Street, Naperville
Hosted by Naperville Area Homeowners Association

February 22, 2017, 7:00 p.m.
Metea Valley High School, 1801 N. Eola Rd., Aurora
Hosted by Indian Prairie Education Association and Indian Prairie Classified Association

March 7, 2017, 7:00 p.m.
Crouse Education Center, 780 Shoreline Drive, Aurora
Hosted by Indian Prairie Parents' Council and League of Women Voters

The February 22 and March 7 forums will be streamed live at www.ipsd.org. These two forums will also be available the following day on 204tv.org.

Four seats on the seven member board of education will be filled at the April 4 election. The candidates will serve four-year terms.

Incumbents Michael Raczak and Cathy Piehl are running along with challengers Laurie Donahue, Vasavi Chakka, Renata Sliva, Susan Taylor-Demming, Marland Brazier, and J. Randy Sidio.
