The Center for Disease Control and the Food and Drug Administration announced they are jointly investigating the sudden increase of incidents of severe respiratory disease associated with e-cigarette products. This includes the recent death of an Illinois resident who had been hospitalized with a severe respiratory illness following e-cigarette use.
District 204 and the Indian Prairie Parents Council are hosting an event to help inform the community about this timely topic. Parents and students are encouraged to attend “What You Need to Know About Vaping” from 7 to 8 pm on Wednesday, October 2 in the auditorium at Waubonsie Valley High School, 2590 Ogden Ave., Aurora.
