Lisa Gracious has been an amazing volunteer at Gregory Middle School. Because of her dedication to the teachers and students at Gregory, she is being named the BMO Harris Bank District 204 Volunteer of the Month.
For more than 11 years, Lisa has volunteered at Spring Brook Elementary and Gregory Middle School. She has devoted her time, energy, enthusiasm, and passion to Gregory’s Library Media Center.
Her nomination indicates that she works tirelessly to help orchestrate author visits, book fairs, and other reading events at Gregory. When the library received hundreds of books for the new ELA curriculum, she worked long shifts to get the materials processed so they would be available for the students. When she heard that some of the other schools didn’t have volunteers, she offered to go to those schools on her days off from volunteering at Gregory.
Lisa is proud to be recognized as the BMO Harris Bank District 204 Volunteer of the Month for doing something she enjoys.
