Dear District 204 Community,
It was an honor to see our 2,250 graduates receive their diplomas and begin their next chapter. For me, graduation day is always filled with the same level of energy and excitement as the first day of school. Both days are wonderful bookends to the year.
As the year comes to an end, I want to thank our parents and community members for all the support you provided to our students this year. I want to say a special thank you to the Indian Prairie Parents Council for hosting a collection drive to support back-to-school needs for our low-income families. This is the second year that IPPC led this drive, and this year they raised $7,600 in just 4 weeks.
The support our students receive from parents, staff and the community provides the foundation for their success.
The list of accomplishments for each graduating class this year was impressive, but I know there are also achievements, big and small, that happen across our district all year long. Thank you for the role you play in our students’ success.
Enjoy your summer!
