Dear District 204 Community,
The Board of Education received proposals from six search firms to assist with the superintendent search process. After conducting interviews with three of the firms, the board selected Ray and Associates, Inc., a professional organization that specializes in school executive leadership searches.
Our district has previous experience working with Ray and Associates, Inc., which has been in the school executive search business since 1975 and was recognized by School Administrator journal as one of the top search firms in the country.
Our next step will be to finalize a timeline, which will include asking stakeholders for feedback in order to develop a candidate profile. Once we have more information, we will share details regarding the feedback process as we continue to update the community.
